Ooh, Billmon! I'm either laughing or crying, not sure which!
I have a Ph.D in cultural anthropology and teach courses on global issues, Middle Eastern societies, and Islam. Yes, I speak Arabic. I lived and worked in the Middle East part of each year from 1988-1997.
